Target GroupPersonnel with Norwegian Oil and Gas (NOROG) Basic Safety training looking to upgrade to STCW basic safety training for seafarers.
ObjectiveUpon completion of the course, delegates should demonstrate the skill and competence described in STWC table A-VI/1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4.
Course ContentsThe course covers the directives set by STCW chapter VI/I, part A-VI/1 and tables A-VI/1-1. 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, and which are not covered by the Basic Safety training course for Norwegian Oil and Gas (NOROG).
PrerequisitesDelegates need to produce a valid Basic Safety training course certificate issued according to the directive set by Norwegian Oil and Gas (NOROG).
ExaminationTheoretical and practical test.
